Elizabeth J. Wysong Berg

Elizabeth is a graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and is licensed to practice in the State of Indiana, Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.

​

Previously, Elizabeth was an underwriter in multiple states and in private practice handling title claims for various title insurance underwriters.  Her private practice also involved handling real estate transactions and litigation, property and casualty insurance defense, and estate work.

​

Elizabeth is an active member with the American Land Title Association serving as the Chair of the State Legislative/Regulatory Action Committee and on the Digital Closing Task Force Committee. She is a Past President of the Indiana Land Title Association and has served many years on various committees as well as being the Government Affairs Chair and Education Chair. She also is active with the Indiana State Bar Association as the 2024 Probate, Trust, and Real Property Section Chair. Elizabeth has earned the National Title Professional designation from the American Land Title Association and the Indiana Title Professional Designation from the Indiana Land Title Association.

The Curveball: How to Navigate Claims
 

Kayla VanCannon

Kayla has been employed with Fidelity’s legal claims department since early 2009.  She worked in the Omaha Claims Center until the summer of 2016 when she relocated to the Jacksonville office.  She was hired as a senior counsel handling high exposure and urgent claim files for all regions before being promoted to Managing Counsel in 2013 and is currently the Managing Counsel for the regional South Team.  Kayla is an honors graduate of both University of Iowa and Drake University Law School.  She is a member of the Iowa State Bar and Nebraska State Bar, as well as Certified Authorized House Counsel in Florida and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. During her law school career, Kayla was on the executive board of Drake Law Review where she was also published.  Prior to joining Fidelity, Kayla practiced as a general litigation counsel.  Then as outside personal counsel representing Fortune 500 lenders where she routinely worked with title companies and reviewed title commitments, surveys, schedule B documents, among many other materials during her representation of the lender in asset-backed financial transactions.

Andrew serves as Agency & Employee Training Coordinator for the FNF

Family of Companies across the Mid-Atlantic region. Since joining the title industry, Andrew has made a significant impact by training & supporting agents in executing effective strategies that foster growth in any market.

​

Highly respected for his expertise in customer experience, brand development, artificial intelligence (AI), and online presence, Andrew is frequently invited to speak & train at industry events throughout the region.

​

He currently hosts the "Hanging with the Hoopers" podcast, all about the

“Attitude of Leadership”, and serves on the Advisory Board for the

Shenandoah University Transformative Leader Program. Prior to joining the title industry in 2021, Andrew served in various leadership roles at JP

Morgan Chase. Outside of work, Andrew finds joy in spending quality time with his two young children. He is always open to connecting with others on LinkedIn or in person to foster meaningful professional relationships.

With an extensive background as a sales rep and team leader, he loves helping sales professionals stand out as the go-to in their local markets by systematizing their proactive connections, streamlining their sales processes for consistency, and finding more focus through teamwork and accountability! Tim enjoys speaking for industry associations and training teams across the country on topics like Energizing Your Sales, Marketing That Matters & The Attitude of Leadership. He’s a John Maxwell-certified coach, host of the Energy4Sales podcast, and author of the GotEnergy series. He would love to connect with you on LinkedIn and in person at one of his speaking events. Michele Green is Senior Vice President in the National Agency group at Fidelity National Financial. In this role, she advises the Company and its agents on various aspects of modern risk management, seeking to maximize revenue potential while minimizing instances of unintended loss. Michele has been in the title industry for more than 25 years, as Regional Claims Counsel, Senior Corporate Underwriting Counsel and General Counsel to Agency Operations. She is a regular speaker at regional and national events for title agents. Prior to joining the industry, Michele was in private practice, specializing in real estate and title insurance litigation.

Michele has a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas in Austin and received a Juris Doctorate from New England Law.

​

She is admitted to practice in all courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Rhode Island.

Since 1984 Ed has been a title examiner, title agent, closing attorney and state underwriting counsel for three title insurance companies. In 2007 he joined the Georgia State office of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company to become Underwriting Counsel, and is State Counsel for all Fidelity National Title Group brands. 

 

Member of the Florida and Georgia Bars.

 

Member of the Real Estate Section of the Georgia Bar, and is a former Board Member and Treasurer of the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association.

Mike Barry

​Michael has been in the title insurance industry for five years and regularly instructs agents on various title insurance related topics.  Prior to joining the industry, Michael spent 20 years in private practice specializing in residential and commercial real estate transactions.

 

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York and received a Juris Doctorate Law Degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He is admitted to practice in Georgia and Florida.

Andrew "Andy" Baker

Andy has worked in the real estate field for most of his career.  ​After graduating from Louisiana State University Law School in 1986, he spent about 10 years working for real estate developers, brokers and management companies in house, twice as General Counsel.  About 24 years of his 38-year career have been spent working in the title insurance industry, with 9 of that in the Georgia state office of Fidelity National Title Insurance Company.  He has also spent about 14 years working in commercial real estate offices for Fidelity, Chicago, Commonwealth, Lawyers Title and First American.

Whitney Brennan

Whitney Brennan is Vice President for Investment Property Exchange Services, Inc., (IPX1031) and is located in the Atlanta, Georgia office. Prior to joining IPX1031®, Whitney held key management and business development positions at other national 1031 Exchange companies. Whitney frequently lecturers on 1031 Exchanges and provides continuing education seminars for attorneys, accountants, and real estate professionals. With over 22 years of 1031 Exchange industry experience, Whitney is an invaluable asset to real estate investors with her vast 1031 Exchange knowledge and transaction experience.

Over the years, Whitney has been a member of various industry and trade associations:  CREW, CCIM, ICSC, and FEA. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
